Lighting the common areas of the camp is one of the easier jobs of Power and Water pod. The tasks are relatively straight-forward and only a little planning and maintenance is needed from year to year. The following is an activity timeline denoting when certain Lighting deployment tasks need to be executed:

Remove lighting
Pack lighting storage boxes
Run power cords across both shade structures - 2-3 people, 1 hour
- power cords are a box in Reno
Hang lamps - need step ladder, OR wire-tie to shade structure before it goes up - 2 people - 30 mins
- Lamps are in a box in Reno (raw sockets with CFLs, chinese paper lanterns over that)
