The logistics of the Power and Water pod supplying the camp with power have been simplified over the past few years, but there are still many tasks that must be accomplished in order for this to happen smoothly and without failure. The following is an activity timeline of five different points upon which certain Electricity deployment tasks need to be executed.

Fill water barrels

Assemble water pump system
Position water barrels
Burning Man: Breakdown
Disassemble system and packup
Empty remaining water barrels
20 water, 2 gray water barrels - in storage locker in Reno
Empty barrels put on truck, fill them on truck
Rinse the 2 gray water barrels. Fill with water as well, but shock with chlorine. (To be only used as emergency/backup)
Average 2.1 gallons/person/day.
Consider developing a spring-loaded tap, or foot pedal to control water (something to limit water consumption)
Water is delivered in 2 trips - Ask Doug for timing.
Kitchen sink:
Powered from 12v, lead acid battery, has a charger connected to it.
Consider making a 12v adapter - 1 hour
- pull PSU from old computer
Do the same for gray water pond pump - 1 hour
- Runs better on 13-14 volts
Run some wires to kitchen - 5 mins
Run some wires to Cube - 5 mins
Set up Barrels - 2 hours, 5-6 people, don't need a dolly

- Line up barrels
- Cover with tarp to keep from getting warm
- Tarp is in Reno
Detailed Instructions for Water system setup (quick - 2 people, 30 mins)
- Line from barrel goes into pump, out of pump, into filter, out of filter to sink
- Hook pump to power.
